mini cherrie pies.

These little pies are seriously so yummy, and bonus: they are super easy to make! They call for just a few ingredients, and you can put in whatever filling you like. Cherry is a family favorite at my house, so that’s what I went with. I ended up making these twice in one week for dessert, just because they were so good! Seriously, you can’t mess these pies up! Here is the recipe.


•Pie Crust

•Filling of Choice (You can make it yourself or buy it at the store like I did)

•1 Egg

•1 Tablespoon of water


Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out pie crust, cut out 3-4 inch circles using a large cookie cutter (I was able to get out about 6 circles from each store bought pie crust)

Step 2: Put about a tablespoon of filling in the middle of each circle. Fold over, and press on edges with finger tips.

Step 3: Take a fork and seal the edges.

Step 4: Whisk together egg and water, brush on top of each pie. Dust with sugar.

Step 5: Cut two slits in the top of each pie. Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Step 6: Once done, remove from oven and let them cool slightly. The pies are best served warm with a little vanilla ice cream 🙂
