One of the top things I have had on my bucket list for this fall was to make it to an apple orchard! I’ve seriously been dying to go to one for so long, since I’ve seen so many bloggers go. I found one close by, and planned a time for when I could make it work! So this past Saturday, Maddie and I put some cute fall outfits on and headed over to Kuna, ID. The apple orchard was definitely not anything like the ones I’d seen bloggers go to in Vermont, etc. but it was still super cute and very homey. Maddie and I picked up our basket at the entrance and headed out into the trees to find some good apples! And I must admit we were pretty successful with our apple picking, and our photo taking as well. Scroll down to see more!
When I was getting some outfit ideas for this shoot, I found a lot of inspiration from Carly the Prepster and Julia Hengel’s many adventures to apple orchards. In a lot of the pictures they wore boots with a cute skirt, and I loved that idea, but it was pretty chilly that day so I went with pants instead. Of course I wore a lot of red, because I felt like it just fit so well with the pretty green trees! Most of the items in this look are old, but I’ll try to link some similar pieces.
