Zeta Tau Alpha
It’s one of my favorite times of the year in Boise right now with all the blooming trees. I’m super excited for spring photoshoots, but here’s a little bonus post for you guys from all the things we did last Saturday for spring formal. If you didn’t know I am in the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha here at BSU, and every semester we have a formal (a.k.a a dance!) And this formal was even more special, because one of our old Leadership Consultants from last year paid us a surprise visit! It was so nice to see Ally again after not having seen her for almost a year. It was great catching up with her and all her amazing adventures she’s been having this year.
📍Waffle Me Up:
We had brunch at one of my favorite spots in Boise, Waffle Me Up! It’s located in Downtown Boise and their strawberry Nutella waffles are to die for! They also will serve waffles with cookie butter, and for those of you who have never tried it, you’re seriously missing out!
For dinner I finally was able to go to Fork! Seriously have been wanting to go forever, but it is so hard to get in on a weekend unless you have a reservation. This time we actually planned ahead and called to get our reservation a few days in advance. I had the artichoke ravioli and oh my gosh it was amazing! Definitely a must try if you’re a big pasta fan, but even if you don’t like pasta, the coolest thing about Fork is that they have so many different options! My brother loves their cheeseburger or their grilled cheese fondue. (and no my brother is 23, not 5 😂)
This beautiful magnolia tree is located in front of the little white church by the BSU football stadium. We drove by on our way to dinner, and I knew we needed to come back to take pictures there afterwords. Shoutout to Lia Crumpton for taking our pictures! My dress is ASTR the Label and I’m obsessed with it. This was our first “Long dress” formal, but I thought this midi dress was to cute to pass up. I also loved the way my hair turned out, it was super simple to do but looks very elegant!
The dance itself was so much fun! I’m so proud of my girl Emily for putting it all together. Pictured in the photo above are all my cute EC pals. Love them all!
