Wide Open Spaces.

Yesterday we drove up to Fairfield to see the Camas Lillies. We went about two years ago and definitely were either too late or too early because they weren’t very pretty. This year we planned to go a week earlier than last time, and I think we actually hit it pretty well!! They were really pretty in a couple of spots, but definitely not as full as I have seen them in pictures in the past. But the view of the mountains behind the prairie is so beautiful, it’s almost worth going just for that.

After taking some photos there, we drove through the mountains to Bliss on the tiniest little dirt road. It was really nice to get out and see some new places again. We also saw some of the cutest cows… We headed home through Buhl and I, of course, had to make my parents stop at Cloverleaf creamery for an ice cream cone. If you are ever by chance in Buhl, ID you have to stop here! I swear it’s the best ice cream.

Our little adventure yesterday got me thinking about where I was at this time last year. A year ago tomorrow I was flying to Paris for my study abroad adventure! I knew this summer wouldn’t be quite as fun as last summer, but I didn’t think it would be quite like this. I’m so grateful though that I got to make those memories last year.

This cute dress is surprisingly from Fred Meyers! Their dip collection has some really cute things sometimes. I’ll link a couple similar dresses here and here. I also love this boater hat from ASOS.

I’m so happy with how these pictures turned out. I compared it to the ones I took two years ago and the quality is so much better. My editing skills have definitely come a long ways!

That’s all for this post see ya next time!

xoxo, kenn
